We return shortages unrecorded.

Per the state auditor, we cannot send cash in the mail. If an overage is received at the counter, the document is recorded and the customer can receive up to $10.00 cash. Anything over $10.00 must be returned to them in an overage check from the auditor. They may also deposit an overage into their escrow account.
